After starring in several advertising and print advertisements, Madelyn quit her university studies at the age of 19. She's appeared in a number of short films and series. She made her breakthrough through her appearances in Stranger Things, The Originals and Outer Banks. Madelyn Cline was born November 21, 1997, to Mark Cline and Pam Cline in Goose Creek near Charleston (South Carolina), U.S.A. Her mother works as a water systems engineer and her father two water system engineers. Maddie is another name for Madelyn. At the age of 10 she began modeling. She often spent her summers in New York where she worked on print ads and TV commercials for companies like T-mobile Next as well as Sunny D. She was even featured on the front cover of American Girl magazine She had signed up for the Coastal Carolina University. However, she decided to become an actress at 19 years old. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California against her parents' wishes. Her home is there in South Carolina, but her parents are supportive of her work.
